Recipes and Cook Mode
Kwilt gives recipes a useful home between finding dinner and getting it onto the table. Keep the source, fix anything an import misunderstood, add the meal to your Plan, and switch into Cook Mode when it is time to make it.
Keep the recipes worth making again
Use the Recipe Library for family recipes, saved ideas, and Kwilt's recipe catalog. Search when you know what you want, or keep a short Plan when you are still deciding.
Favorites help the reliable meals rise. Hiding a catalog meal removes it from your normal view without pretending the recipe never existed.
Review imports before they become trusted recipes
A recipe can begin with text, a link, a photo, or another supported source. Import review is where you check the title, ingredients, directions, yield, notes, and source before approving it.
Keep the original source attached when it matters. If Kwilt is uncertain or the source is incomplete, fix the field rather than letting a polished layout hide the gap.
Use the recipe in the rest of the food loop
Open a recipe to scale the yield, read ingredients and directions, keep private notes, and see what happened the last time you cooked it. Add it to Meal Plan when it belongs in the next round of choices.
When the plan is ready, recipe ingredients can carry their source into one grocery list. That makes it possible to change the plan without losing track of why an item is there.
Cook without losing your place
Cook Mode turns the directions into a current action with clear Back and Next controls. Start a suggested timer when a step has one, or add a timer for the duration you need.
Hands-free commands can move forward, go back, repeat the current action, or start a timer when voice support is available. Kwilt saves your place and active timers so an interruption does not mean starting over.
