Explore turns movement into a private history of the world you have traveled. Record a path, clear the map as you go, name the Places that matter, and return to an outing without turning location into a public feed.
Choose how Explore remembers
On first use, Kwilt asks for location in context and lets you choose how future movement is recorded. Use manual recording when you want a clear beginning and end for each outing. Automatic recording may require additional device permission.
Recording, viewing, and sharing are separate choices. Your map starts private.
Record a path and clear the fog
Start a path when you want an outing to have a deliberate record, then stop when the outing is done. The route remains visible on your map and a recap helps you review what was captured.
If location coverage has gaps, Kwilt should show the gap instead of drawing a route it did not record.
Name Places worth returning to
Save the current location as a Place when the name will matter later: home, a park, a trailhead, a favorite shop, or somewhere you discovered together.
Search My Places to return to a saved location. Nearby suggestions can help you notice what is around you when that service is available.
Review and replay an outing
Explore Recap gathers the recorded path and confidently named Places into one review. Remove a mistaken Place before keeping or sharing the moment.
Path playback lets you revisit the order of the outing on the map. It is a memory tool, not turn-by-turn navigation or live family tracking.
